This was a prime example of how i was able to go beyond the brief, which originally was a bunch of headlines on billboards, and create an experience that Bostonian's could be a part of. Each placement features actual people from Boston cheering on the runners.

We also developed a sweepstakes, which drove the highest participation MLB.com had ever had with a contest.

Print &#38; Outdoor - A full page print ad announced the launch of the campaign, along with wild postings, newspaper wraps, and life sized Wally Cutouts placed around the city, generated awareness for the Sweepstakes.

Wally Cards - To generate noise for the sweepstakes, we made Wally baseball cards and distributed them all around Boston. The cards feature quirky information about Wally the mascot and drive people to enter the sweepstakes.

		<description>This is one of the most fun projects i've done at work. Mainly because it blurs the line between traditional Advertising and performance art.  Here was our problem. We had a great concept, 'A Little Piece of Happy,' but no budget. How were we going to sell the idea to directors effectively. The answer was simple. Instead of sending a PDF of the brief, I designed a fun book out of it. The book was packaged in a box with a bunch of helium balloons. I dressed up as a bunny, and went around the city to personally deliver the brief.
