Facebook Watch: Red Table Talk

Leading Social-First Creative Strategy for Facebook Watch's Flagship Series

As Creative Director embedded in Meta's entertainment and content group, I served as voice of brand and creative stakeholder for the launch of Red Table Talk—Facebook Watch's #1 original series hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris. I guided and advised episodic trailers while optimizing promotional content and marketing assets through design, storytelling, and visual language integration with a social-first strategy.

Partnering with brand-side product marketing managers, partner agencies, production houses, editors, designers, and animators, I provided hands-on creative direction through pre and post-production to ensure all filmic assets maximized engagement across Facebook's platform.

Impact: Red Table Talk became Facebook Watch's #1 show, averaging 14.7 million views per episode and building a community of 10.4 million followers. Multiple episodes shattered records—the Will & Jada Smith episode drew 15.4 million views in 24 hours. The show sparked a cultural movement, inspiring grassroots "Red Table Talk" chapters nationwide and earning Facebook Watch's first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination (2019). I felt honored to work alongside Facebook's team and contribute to a series featuring three remarkable cultural icons.
